Concerning the Extension of the Period for Submitting Tax Returns for the Tax Year 2019

Greetings

Due to the increasing correspondence received from the audit offices regarding the request to extend the period of filing tax returns for the tax year 2019, taking into account the exceptional circumstances experienced by the State during this period, and in an effort to promote the principle of tax compliance for taxpayers,

We would like to inform you that it has been decided to postpone the deadline for filing tax returns for the tax year 2019 for a period of two months. Hence, the last deadline for submitting tax returns is 30/6/2020.

All competent authorities, each according to its competence, shall apply this circular from the date of its issuance.
