This Decision implements the new-design Marks under the Marking of Tobacco and Tobacco Products Scheme. Article 1 defines Designated Excise Goods as all types of cigarettes, electrically-heated cigarettes and Water pipe tobacco. Article 2 approves Marks with a new design, withdraws approval from the old design and sets dates: 1 October 2021 for local markets and duty-free arrival terminals, 1 January 2022 for duty-free departure terminals, and 31 December 2023 to prevent supply, transfer, storage or possession of goods using old-design Marks, as added by FTA Decision No. 3 of 2022.
